From live surgery in Olsberg to the hands-on workshop in Frankfurt.
Three stages, one continuous programme.
Pre-Congress Live Surgery Courses
Two full days of pure live surgery — more than 7 hours of live procedures each day, focusing on different techniques of bone grafting and soft tissue management (09:00–17:00).
Minimally invasive bone augmentation: bone splitting, Carota technique
Bone block harvesting from intraoral sites, focusing on the retromolar mandibular area
Bone grafting procedure following the Khoury Shell principle
Soft tissue management and soft tissue grafting
Intensive Course – Part I
A full day of live surgery (09:00–18:30): grafting principles and treatment planning, minimally invasive bone augmentation techniques, safe intraoral bone harvesting, and aesthetic soft tissue management — with live surgery videos throughout.
Welcome & Introduction
Principles of grafting procedures & treatment planning
Minimally invasive bone augmentation (Carota technique, bony-lid approach, bone splitting)
Split Bone Block (SBB) technique for severe bone loss & safe intraoral bone harvesting
Aesthetic & soft tissue management (vestibuloplasty, pedicle flaps, papilla reconstruction)
Intensive Course Part II – Workshop
Morning lecture session (Advanced Grafting Procedures, Digitally Assisted Prosthetics) followed by hands-on workshop training on animal/dry mandibles: implantation with local augmentation, bone harvesting techniques, soft tissue management, and complication management — plus alumni case discussions.
Advanced Grafting Procedures (lateral & vertical augmentation, 3D reconstructions, tunnel technique, sinus floor elevation)
Digitally Assisted Prosthetics
Hands-on training on animal/dry mandibles (implantation, Carota technique, MicroSaw/SBB harvesting, micro screw stabilization, 3D augmentation)
Further hands-on soft tissue training
